Our Project Stories are a testament to the impactful partnerships we've forged, and the tangible results achieved through our tailored J.E.D.I. solutions.
Background:
Our client reached out looking for support and guidance on integrating DEI into their organizational structure and culture. With a strategic goal of creating a trauma informed, diverse, equitable and inclusive environment, they reach out to Preseli to help actualize their goal.

Preseli spearheaded a comprehensive Cultural Climate Audit for our esteemed partner, the largest behavioral health organization in their state. With services spanning rural and urban areas, our audit laid the foundation for a tailored JEDI Strategic Plan, serving as a roadmap for sustainable change. Our audit captured employee perceptions across region and identities. Beyond recommendations, our involvement extended to coaching the development of a dedicated JEDI committee with the support of our implementation plan. This project stands as a beacon of collaborative success, driving positive and lasting impact in the realm of behavioral health services.

Creating Spaces that Foster Informed Dialogue, Deeper Learning, and Measureable Accountability
Background:
Preseli Equity Group partnered with a local non-profit with a 20-year legacy in serving the behavioral health community. Preseli team members served as capacity builders for the organization by providing program management for their training curriculum. Our team revised the organization's four core curriculums by updating the language, content, and evidence-based practices to be culturally relevant to a behavioral health sector now navigating the COVID-19 pandemic and remote learning styles. Preseli expanded the organization's curriculums from four in person core trainings to 20 in person and virtual curriculums. In addition to ensure sustainability Preseli facilitated quarterly trainer of trainers to the agencies training department.

As capacity builders, Preseli also served as a subject matter expert for cultural humility providing research and writing for two projects, one being an innovative series of reports which highlighted racial disparities in the state's behavioral health sector and the other being a subject matter expert, subcontracted to support the Governor's Behavioral Health Taskforce plan.

Preseli team members also led the visioning and delivery of the organizations first annual conference since before the pandemic. Preseli successfully pitched a conference topic and focus, recruiting 15 expert presenters on topics ranging from DEI, advocacy and trauma informed care, obtaining continuing education credits for attendees. With the support of the Preseli team the conference was a booming success with many attendees sharing they were eager to return the following year.
